Liquid Gold Facial Oil

This luxurious, deeply moisturizing facial oil is ideal for dry or mature skin. It’s hydrating, anti-inflammatory, anti-redness. It minimizes fine lines and wrinkles as it soothes, smoothes, tones, plumps and protects. 

Castor oil - Anti-inflammatory powerhouse! Rich in anti-bacterial ricinoleic acid, castor oil penetrates deeper into the skin than most plant based oils. It helps stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, reduces redness, reduces swelling and helps to even out skin tone.

Rosehip Oil - “Nature’s retinol” Rosehip is one of the highest sources of natural tretenoin (vitamin A) helping build collagen and improve elasticity. Her high omega 3, 6 & 9 content as well as a hefty dose of beta carotene is great for sun damage, repairing damaged skin and giving you the summer glow you’re looking for.

Sea Buckthorn Berry Oil - It’s rich amber colour is part of where the name liquid gold came from. Super high in vitamin C, sea buckthorn protects skin from oxidative and sun damage as well as treats existing sun damage. Rich in A & B vitamins, it helps to reduce age spots and freckles as well as helping overall tone, texture and elasticity.

Olive Squalane - Mimicking your skins natural oils, olive squalane is plant based and cruelty free unlike squalene which is an animal product and harvested inhumanly. It’s a lightweight molecule and is not oil-like at all. It’s wildly protective for skin and absorbs quickly leaving skin hydrated and plump. It helps to calm the skin and is often used for eczema and damaged skin - reducing redness, itchiness and irritation. It’s is also a powerful protector against oxidative stress.

Frankincense essential oil -  The king of oils! Frankincense is really in the spotlight right now and for good reason. Its astringent properties help to lift sagging skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while the pentacyclic triterpene (steroid like structure) helps to soothe damaged, irritated skin. Frankincense helps to speed up cellular renewal and guards against sun damage. It reduces redness, evens out skin tone and lessens scarring and blemishes.

Helichrysum essential oil - A gorgeous golden flowered member of the daisy family also known as “immortelle,” helichrysum is rich in skin building nutrients helping to support collagen production, reduce the look of wrinkles and actually repair skin. High in anti oxidants, it protects against free radicals damage and helps to lighten age spots and reduce irritation.

Use as part of your skincare routine. Facial oils are generally applied after all other products, following moisturizer. Can be used with or in place of facial cream, on the whole face or to spot treat as desired.  Perfect for gua sha or facial massage.
